Personal and family risk.
Risk that belongs to private life rather than to any corporate perimeter.
Personal devices, home networks, household accounts, family members, travel routines, and a public record that accumulates over a career all sit outside the reach of any IT department. They are rarely anyone's assigned responsibility, and that is usually where exposure sits.
Work begins with an account of what is currently exposed and who would plausibly be interested in it. What follows is the reduction of that exposure, and then keeping the reduction current as circumstances change. A household is not an enterprise, so the counsel is shaped to how a family actually lives rather than to a control framework built for a company.
Exposure in a household is also rarely concentrated in the principal. It accumulates across the people around them, which is why the work covers the household rather than the individual, at a standard each person will realistically sustain.
Personal and household hardening
Devices, home networks, and accounts reviewed and tightened. Weak points are identified and closed, and monitoring is left in place so that new exposure is noticed early rather than discovered late.
Public footprint
A systematic account of what can be found: social profiles, data brokers, leaked credentials, property and corporate records. What is documented is then reduced, with a watch set for the records that reappear.
Travel
Pre-trip briefings, device preparation, and arrangements settled before departure rather than improvised in transit. Coverage continues through the trip where the itinerary warrants it.
Family and household staff
The same standard extended to spouses, children, and the assistants and staff who support the household, calibrated to what each person will actually maintain.
How it starts
Most engagements here begin with The Exposure Review: a fixed-scope, fixed-fee first piece of work establishing what can be found about you, how you could be reached, and what could be done with either. It is complete in itself, and it makes any further work specific rather than speculative.
